Sacred Heart Community Center
Every month, members meet up together to help our community. Sacred Heart Harvest is another non-profit organization that takes donations and provides food, clothing, and basic necessities for people in need. So far our team of members has bagged hundreds of produce on weekends to give out to families throughout the week. Though STEM is important, helping our community in a more active and present way is a key part of our organization. To find out more, click their website here.
Second Harvest Food Bank
Our members have actively worked with Second Harvest Food Bank every 3rd week of each month for 2 hour periods to provide food for people in the Silicon Valley Area. We help sort foods to build a hunger-free community. Similar to Sacred Heart Community Service, our purpose is to give a hand towards helping community and the people in need. Star Kids
Part of HSC’s motivations are to provide additional support in STEM based subjects for young children. Recently, a few of our team members have joined Star Kids to help teach kids from other subjects of English, Math, and more! We try to reach more than just students and young children around our Bay Area and have now reached children from Myanmar and other countries around the world through an online learning program. Color A Smile
Such a beautiful smile everyone has! Through Color A Smile, HSC has been able to put smiles on thousands of faces in the past few weeks. A handful of our members have taken the initiative to draw and send out each new drawing for Senior Citizens, overseas troops, or anyone who just needs a smile.
